On a podcast this week, I heard Zion Williamson’s game described perfectly. “If Zion wants to get to the basket, no one can stop him, not LeBron, not Giannis, not anybody.” The problem is Zion does not always want to or maybe it is that he cannot sustain that level of effort. Either way, until it is remedied the Pelicans will not be in the top tier of the Western Conference.
